Her face is all over this site. Along with her brothers and sisters, she is my little website model. On September 19th, 2006 Myra Mackenzie Barco-Calderon was run over with a riding lawnmower. She suffered severe injuries, but her vital organs and her brain were not damaged, for this we are extremely grateful. Myra and I spent a month at the University of Virginia Hospital where she underwent numerous surgeries and procedures. Since then, she has begun physical therapy, and faces more surgery. Her spirits are great, although she is only 4 years old and doesn't completely understand everything that she is going through. We ask for your prayers, and healing vibes. All four of her limbs (especially her left arm and hand) were affected by this horrible accident; we can only hope that she will recover fully and regain all function.
